Frame your windows with drapery that either falls straight down, hovers near a sill, or puddles on the floor.
Drapery’s have 5 different length styles – Sill (meaning it the drapery hangs ½” off of the sill of the window) Apron (meaning the drapery will pass the sills and apron of the window/frame of the windows) Floor length (depending on the type of flooring you have, we will hang the drapery either ½ – ¾” off the floor for hard surfaces, ¾” for tightly rolled carpeting, and 1” for high cut and rugged areas to ensure they do not drag on the floor), Trouser (3-4” longer than the length of the floor, to create a break like that of a pair of trousers). Puddling (usually add 24”+ in length to create the formal appearance)
